Privacy notice
This notice explains what information the Bergs & Co and Bergs & Co Events website collects and why. We aim to collect as little as possible, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Enquiry forms
When you send an enquiry, the details you enter (such as your name, email address, telephone number and the information about your request) are sent to our server, checked, and forwarded by email to Jaden.Bergman@bergsco.co.za so we can reply. The website itself does not store your enquiry in a database. Once email delivery is configured, the message passes through our email provider (Resend) to reach our inbox.
If online sending is not available, the form offers to open your own email program with the details filled in — nothing is sent until you choose to send that email.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and loads no third-party scripts.
Server logs and abuse protection
Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) for security and reliability. To prevent spam, the enquiry service temporarily counts submissions per IP address in memory; these counts are not stored permanently.
